A compact zip wallet made from a very special leather with a custom hand-painted finishing.

The dirty white horse culatta is available in very limited quantity. It's made using the aluminium aldehyde tanning process and has a more "dry" feeling to it compared to the veg tan culatta.

On top of that it's object stained with a special waxy finish made from a burnishing agent. This leaves a coating and stains the leather, articulating its beautiful texture. This can be compared to waxed denim, but more polished.

Care instructions

  • This is a special leather that will tan further under UV light.
  • The coating protects it from the elements and it's polished smooth.
  • Keep away from water. It may stain clothes when wet.
  • Can be cleaned and polished with a soft cotton cloth and bone/wooden slicker.

Quality is a journey

Hand-stitched

Saddle stitch is the strongest seam that can't be replicated by a sewing machine... for sure it's an overkill.

Still the quality comes not from its toughness, but from the process and the journey. First through my hands and then in your own adventures.

It arrives with waxy residue and matte texture to be polished by your hands and develop a smooth shine.

Vegetable tanned full-grain leather is a very particular material. It won't stay brand new and perfect like a heavily coated chrome tanned leather.

Instead it develops character and patina, and this is how it can survive much longer, through changes.
