This one-of-one clutch is made from a very special Italian tamponato leather, vegetable tanned cow shoulder. Tamponato is a method of hand painting leather to create an uneven texture, in this case it was also glazed with a glass rod to bring out the glossy color.
It is very bright and shimmering in the sunlight, but in the shade looks almost black (check out the last photo).
The inside pockets are made from the same leather, just in orange color, unlike the magical green outer. The inside is left raw intentionally and gummed and polished by hand, the strap is made from the same hide and slightly waxed and burnished.
This clutch features:
- ~ 22×11×3.5cm size, big enough for a large phone, cigs, wallet, passport and other essentials for your night out.
- Clean minimalist design in glazed tamponato veg tan leather.
- High quality brass hardware and rivets, plus a Loxx snap that won't open by accident.
- Handmade matching strap, adjustable length..
- 2 inside pockets.
Each item is one of a kind due to the natural full grain texture of leather and the creative process. Everything particular about this item is as it should be.

Quality is a journey
Hand-stitched
Saddle stitch is the strongest seam that can't be replicated by a sewing machine... for sure it's an overkill.
Still the quality comes not from its toughness, but from the process and the journey. First through my hands and then in your own adventures.

Avant-garde leather
Horse culatta
I'm mesmerized by horse culatta with shell cordovan traces and wrinkles.
It arrives with waxy residue and matte texture to be polished by your hands and develop a smooth shine.

Heritage leathercraft
Made to last
Vegetable tanned full-grain leather is a very particular material. It won't stay brand new and perfect like a heavily coated chrome tanned leather.
Instead it develops character and patina, and this is how it can survive much longer, through changes.
