Color: Black culatta

This product is made to order from any leather I have available in stock. Please add a comment in the cart with your preferences (color, texture, type).

This retractable Kevlar dongle is a simple, tough little piece of gear that makes daily life easier. I made this one from black horse culatta with tumbled full-grain cow leather on the sides; it's a mix that gives it structure, a nice hand feel, and a bit of character right from the start.

You can order it in any leather I currently have in the workshop; the price remains the same. And if you’re pairing it with a Siegfried lighter case, there’s a small bundle discount.

And even though I call it a keychain, you can use this fob for pretty much anything you carry every day: keys, lighters, badges, small tools, USB drives, or any EDC item you want on a retractable Kevlar line. It’s meant to be practical, durable, and quietly satisfying to use.

Each item is one of a kind due to the natural full grain texture of leather and the creative process. Everything particular about this item is as it should be.

Quality is a journey

Hand-stitched

Saddle stitch is the strongest seam that can't be replicated by a sewing machine... for sure it's an overkill.

Still the quality comes not from its toughness, but from the process and the journey. First through my hands and then in your own adventures.

My principles and choices

Avant-garde leather

Horse culatta

I'm mesmerized by horse culatta with shell cordovan traces and wrinkles.

It arrives with waxy residue and matte texture to be polished by your hands and develop a smooth shine.

What is horse culatta?

Heritage leathercraft

Made to last

Vegetable tanned full-grain leather is a very particular material. It won't stay brand new and perfect like a heavily coated chrome tanned leather.

Instead it develops character and patina, and this is how it can survive much longer, through changes.
