I'm on a quiet quest to find the perfect shape for a minimalist card holder.

This version has softer, more fluid lines, and the pockets are slightly more generous—each one fits two cards comfortably, for a total of six. Still snug enough to hold everything securely.

Contrasting stitching on the black side uses thick waxed thread at a 5mm pitch, giving it a rugged edge. It complements the tough yet flexible white horse culatta on the back and the thinner, durable full-grain calf leather on the front.

Both leathers come from tanneries in Santa Croce sull'Arno, Tuscany.

  • White leather: dirty white horse culatta, full-grain side, aluminium aldehyde tanned for its unique look.
  • Black leather: Italian vacchetta, full-grain veg tan calf shoulder from La Perla Azzura.
  • Both leathers will develop patina over time.

This is a prototype—or maybe a release candidate. There are a few light scratches, but they only add to the story. Make it yours and see how you age together and develop character.

Please note, that samples and protoypes on sale may have small imperfections and store the history of my design process. All samples are sold at a discount.

Quality is a journey

Hand-stitched

Saddle stitch is the strongest seam that can't be replicated by a sewing machine... for sure it's an overkill.

Still the quality comes not from its toughness, but from the process and the journey. First through my hands and then in your own adventures.

My principles and choices

Avant-garde leather

Horse culatta

I'm mesmerized by horse culatta with shell cordovan traces and wrinkles.

It arrives with waxy residue and matte texture to be polished by your hands and develop a smooth shine.

What is horse culatta?

Heritage leathercraft

Made to last

Vegetable tanned full-grain leather is a very particular material. It won't stay brand new and perfect like a heavily coated chrome tanned leather.

Instead it develops character and patina, and this is how it can survive much longer, through changes.
